The app provides a Taipei Metro route map, station exit information, transfer information and a journey planner. The interface launches on the Metro map, from where you can click into the station you wish to look up.Any anomalies or incidents on the network will be published in real time by push notification under the “important notices” section. You can also use Taipei Metro Go to look up the schedule for the next train, and whether there are any YouBike stations nearby; look up transfer parking or transfer buses; which exit has an elevator or escalator, and which exit only has stairs; you can even use it to calculate the fastest route to your destination, so that you can plan ahead and travel at ease and with great convenience. I don't understand how such a great metro system can't have someone develop an app that works properly. For years now I try to avoid using this app because it's so cumbersome.
I've been waiting for this app to run smoothly for years. Every version runs slow, crashes, etc.
Since the last (or second to last, it's been like this for a few months already) update, the app has become very slow on my device (Galaxy A21s) and can take up.to 30s to start. Also, the live MRT arrival timetable is very unreliable now, times are often wrong and they stop updating after the first refresh. Opening the map also takes ages. I've already reinstalled the app, to no avail. I hope this can be fixed in the next version, it worked very well before.
Very convenient
Really practical to check first and last trains and also to calculate your travelling time from A to B.
Was this app made in 2007 and never updated? Slightly terrible and very outdated interface
